I like your overall idea of creating an online database/networking forum for volunteering opportunities. Your pitch was well presented and well spoken. At the same time, I sometimes felt that I could not hear all of your words, and I think this is probably because you were filming this outside. You used energy throughout the pitch and I saw you make gestures with your hands throughout the video, which I thought was good because you were moving and interacting throughout the presentation. Good job on this post! Here's mine: http://entintheair.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html
Also: I wish now that I allowed my camera to shoot more of my body so you could see me interact more like you did. I believe that I also used a good amount of my hands to express myself too.
Hi Isa! Love your idea to help people find volunteering opportunities within their communities. I think you're spot-on with a certain need in people's lives -- the need to give back, and experience the fulfillment that comes with doing so. Though our ideas are worlds apart, I think they both add value to people's lives. Props on getting on camera and letting the world know what you want to do! You appeared very confident, and the shot you used was similar to mine. If you'd like, you can check out my pitch here: https://johncrimminsblog.wordpress.com/2016/02/04/week-5-elevator-pitch-no-1/ Best of luck! John
I like your idea that allows networking for the purpose of volunteering! I love the idea of helping and giving back to the community. This is very attractive. Your pitch was great, and a lot shorter than mine. I wish I knew more about the details of your database! You can check out my blog here: First of all, I think your idea is very innovative and that idea has honestly never crossed my mind before! Your presentation was great. However taking battery life from someone else's phone rather than using already-existing solutions to the problem you presented is less efficient. Instead of jumping into a patent, I suggest more extensive research. Good job though! You can check out my blog post here: http://stthach.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html
Hey Isa! Awesome pitch, I love how concise it was. Volunteering is such a big part of my life as well and being able to give back to the community is a great way to learn about yourself and others. I think you'll have a great market for your product. I would defiantly suggest advertising through universities and clubs within the university to give them accessibility to other volunteering outlets. http://kathrynfarr.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no1.html
