1) Below is the video of my third attempt at an elevator pitch.
2) The most common feedback I got was that there was an issue with the audio quality of my last video. However, people seemed to like the idea based on what they were able to understand.
3) I'm not sure what went wrong with the last video, but I tried to fix the problem in this video by speaking louder and more clearly and filming in a quieter setting.
Hi Isa,
ReplyDeleteThis is a great elevator pitch! I definitely agree with your premise that generally people want to help but no a realistic and tangible way to get involved. I think it may be interesting to try to include some type of incentive system where you can earn points and then trade those points for prizes. Something to get people who aren't as virtuous as yourself involved. I think simplifying the way we can help others is a great idea. My idea is a clothing brand that is built on the foundation of helping others as well! Great job! If you have the time check out my blog:

Hey Isa,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the assignment. Definitely could hear you pretty clearly in this pitch. The one thing I would suggest is elaborating a little bit more with your service so you're able to meet the minute length pitch. I'd be interested in knowing more and think that you've got a great idea going. Keep up the great work! Here's mine: http://cindyblogs4u.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-no-3.html
Hey Isa,
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with this assignment. The only thing I would have to give you constructive criticism on is being more in-depth on it is all. I agree with Chris on the incentive idea. It would work out great with your idea.
Check out my post, if you dont mind!

I fully support your idea and think it would certainly benefit those wanting to get involved and help in any way that they can. I would definitely use your service. While getting your brand out there in front of those already willing to help would be first, I am curious to know how you can motivate others to join them. Great idea and great delivery! ReplyDeleteGreat job on this assignment. I would love to use an app like this. I wish I had thought of this as I am really interested in non profits as well and would've loved something like this when I first came to Gainesville to get acquainted with volunteer opportunities in the community.
