Hi Isabelle,
ReplyDeleteI really liked the articles you picked to write about. My favorite was the one about diverting resources from public schools because I feel like that's very relevant since the majority of our lives we have been students. Also, you did a very general news source so it applies to alot of people.

Hi Isa,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you found some very interesting articles with issues affecting our community. I found the one about Seeking Clarity in Hospital Costs most interesting because my aunt was recently in the hospital and received an outrageous bill. It is good to know that this issues is being addressed by our senator and other government officials. If you would like to check out my local opportunities blog post you can read it out here: http://www.emmastetterent3003.blogspot.com/2016/01/identifying-local-opportunities.html.
Thanks for sharing!
Hi Isabelle, I found all of the opportunities you identified extremely relevant because they affect a huge number of people. I think it is important to note the fact that fracking poses a major threat to everybody because everyone uses water. Although there are lawmakers trying to solve the problem, people must voice their opinion on the issue to make anything happen. If you've got some extra time, please check out my post at http://jdasher.blogspot.com/2016/01/identifying-local-opportunities-week-3.html
